This course will help you understand the most critical risks, known as the Water Industry Life Saving Rules, and what you need to do to manage them. You’ll learn how to stay safe, protect your team, and make sure everyone goes home at the end of the day. Complete the course and quiz to earn your Work Safety Card, which shows you know what it takes to work safely around high-risk water infrastructure.

This online module will enhance your understanding of local water utilities' Work Health and Safety (WHS) responsibilities. We will discover the sixteen fatal risks identified by the Water Services Association of Australia and learn how you can contribute to a safer workplace.

Aqua Card provides a simple overview of what contaminants are, the risks they pose, how they enter a drinking water system and the responsibilities of those working on drinking water infrastructure to reduce that risk. It includes practical guidance on how to operate within work sites including good housekeeping and disinfection practices.

This course is designed to provide you with an overview of the importance of, and requirements for, maintaining public health, minimising environmental harm and general workplace health and safety when working in, on or near sewerage and recycled water assets.
Successful completion of this course and examination will provide you with a “Brown Card” for working in, on or near sewerage and recycled water assets.
